I am just relaying information i got from the salesman he told me he has seen 2 strykers (sorry he did not say color or year) with broken rear wheels due to potholes so please just be aware. One happened during commute to the nyc for work. If anyone has ever gone over the cross bronx expressway you would know how that could have happened. He did not mention where it happened but its just a pothole. I wonder if they where 5:00pm friday rims at the factory?

I should hope they are Friday rims because they should hold up to pot holes. I could understand a bent rim but not a broken rim. Thanks for the info though.

If someone hit a pothole hard enough to break the wheel...it should have done a lot more damage than just that.

I've driven Tractor Trailer through NYC half dozen times back in 80's and believe me there were some rough streets and highways down there then That I would not want to ride bike or small car on.
