Could be bringing the entire family since the older daughter's boyfriend is at UofI. Are we planning on meeting earlier and riding etc. and then getting together later for BBQ and the like? If that is the case I'll have them meet us later unless they have things to do at the university etc.

BTW, what happened in MV stays in MV. I left out any references to anyone's ditching and the tragic fatality right by the hotel. Adjust your stories as needed

There is a few corn fields we could ride through. There is a nice bar in Homer, the wife and I like to go to.. We could hit that up early afternoon, then get back for some grilling / fire action.

I wish you guys weren't so far away... we are really hoping to be able to get out to the eastern states this next summer =) we will have to see tho, my daughter will had had our grandchild by then and I am not sure if she will want to farm sit with a 6 month old baby lol

Well the tentative plan is, with my daughter farm sitting and running the desk, we might get a whole month to road trip on the bikes. If that really happens we want to head out to the east coast area (to me any state past nevada is the east coast lol ) I am hoping to be able to plan this so that it also incorporates going thru sd in time for sturgis
if things look like they will really come together then we will start a thread so that hopefully we can also pester the heck out of our friends here in the forums on our trip and probably spend time making you guys all look at baby pictures n stuff lol
