Has anyone done this? I saw where Memphis Shades offers one for the Raider. I know the forks are a lil wider but that's an easy adjustment. Since the key is in the same place that's no problem. Anyone know about the headlight?

Going to see Glenn at Woodys fairings and do a mock-up. The spacing between forks is the same as the VTX1800. I'll post back later, hopefully with pictures.

Back from Woody's....... http://woodysfairings.com/ .........doesn't look promising for a direct fit without a ton of moding. We tried the Honda fairing and the Harley fairing and nothing would fit or even close. The key would not be accessible and would have to be to high for hand protection. :( Cost wise he suggests using the Memphis one some how. It's plastic and a lot less expensive than fiberglass.

On the bright side he lent me Rivco risers for experimental use. I'll post back later with pictures.

Ya when I spoke to memphis shades they were pretty intent on leaving us stryker owners out. I suggested the memphis shade for the raider cause the key is in the same position. My dealer is a dick and wont let me compair it on a stryker but I know the fork width is a little wider on the raider vs the stryker but if the headlight is the same or real close it would be very possible to bend the supports in to the stryker width. Anyone with a cool dealer that would let them do some comparison. Id be game to be guinie pig and buy the thing but i need to know just how close it is so I can get an idea of how possible it would be to convert it to work.

What Memphis Shade fairing is that? the one for Raider? what did you use for brackets??
Nope - It's from http://www.tsukayu.com/QuickDetachableFairingforDyna.html. And I just recv a set of new brackets from them made to my specs and it pushed it forward to be flush with the headlight - Looks GREAT - will post more pics this weekend with the new brackets - can't believe how much it changed the looks - I was happy with the initial set up but did not like the fact that it sat so far back from the headlight though I could live with it - The new brackets make it just about perfect.
