I was going to put a bullet on, as Memphis said they didnt have a batwing that would fit, but they also said the bullet wont fit 2012 and apparently it does. I see numerous bikes on forum with batwing that look sharp. I have the quick connect bracket on order which would fit either. Recommendations? Does the batwing make the key hard to reach?

Please help me in the quest for stryker knowledge.. ;D

I have the bullet and I just was not a fan of the lack of wind protection. I am 6-2 and it blew the wind into my neck and caused alot of turbulence. I have been riding with a regular windshield all summer, but saved enough coin to put the batwing on now. I just put it on last night so I will test her out tomorrow and see how I like it. I am thinking that I will sell the Bullet since I haven't really used it much.

Just put the batwing on last week and LOVE IT ;D Key is plenty easy to reach and makes a world of difference while riding. No wind blast and is amazing on the highway. Had to get used to it the first couple of rides because I had the smaller National Cycle windshield on it before the batwing and I will not go back. I really liked the smaller one for looks and blocking a bit of wind but I spend alot of time on the highway and the batwing was the answer. With the mounting hardware you can adjust it however you want. Up,down, front angle, rear angle. I have the 9 inch shield on now, but just ordered the 5 inch for around town. Just my $.02 Good luck and ride safe 8) You won't be disappointed with the batwing

The Batwing is awesome, its much better than the boulevard and/or riffle. Tried both of those before the batwing. It keeps the wind off very well. I love mine. If you are looking for a Long Rides Shield for the batwing, I have a 6" dark one that I got from Strykenshane that I am not using, you or anyone else can have it for half price of what Long Rides sell them for online when on sale. Same price I paid Shane, not looking to make any money on it. Good Luck on your decision but the Batwing IMO is much better and provides good wind coverage.

Thanks. I'll jot that down. Im going with the Bullet for now, but in a couple years when we start doing more high mileage trips I'll probably switch to the full fairing.

Probably a sillky question but... can you use the mounting kit for the bullet fairing on the batwing ?
The mounts that attach to the fairing are different. The collars/clamps that attach to the triple trees will work with both. I have the same clams and use the bullet, the batwing and a shield. Just need the specific mounts for the shield or the fairing as far as I know.

I have seen the side plates for the bullet by themselves, so I assume they sell the side plates for the Batwing seperately as well. I think the Bullet ones were about $62 on a few sites.

I'm tryin to find out the best optio
n to make the batwing fit the 2011 stryker.
Buy the 2005 Victory Vegas Memphis Shades Batwing and Mounting Kit. It is a direct bolt on for our bikes.
So...While looking at the Tsukayu fairing with the full stereo and the different mounting brackets for it....All I see for the Victory ones are ones "with speedometer on handlebar removed" and " inverted forks w/ speedometer on handlebar removed".........which should I go with when the time comes??

The makers of the Tsukayu fairing make stryker brackets. Contact then if they are not listed on the website.
