Anyone have a mesh jacket and want to pass on some comments? I really want to stay safe and relatively cool as the Summer bears down on us. My Scorpion Textile jacket is a little much when in the heat of the day.

I have a mesh jacket. Pretty worthless, in my opinion. Only time I wear it is with the liner in when I ride the CBR and it's slightly chilly, and that's just because the leather flaps around on that bike.

No, give me unlined leather any day of the week. Especially when its REALLY hot. I zip up all the vents and it keeps the hot wind off. Just don't stop. Might die if you stop.

I have this jacket I wear on the stryker. The dealer threw it in and it works quite nice when chilly with the liner in and breathes great in the warm weather. I've worn it on 90 degree days and stay plenty cool when moving. I like the fact that it has the elbow, shoulder, and spine pad. Just my opinion though.

I have a Hein Gericke mesh jacket that i haven't tried yet but my husband has a power trip jacket that has an inner lining to make it water and wind proof. He tried it out this weekend in 28 degree C heat and he said it worked fine. He wore it without the lining and was really cool. ;D

I have the same one and I love it!!!

Another vote for the phoenix here....Liner works great to cut the wind on cooler mornings, mesh without it works great when its hot out, lots of airflow.

Tour Master Sonora Air Jacket, down here in Florida it works great. Has a waterproof liner and an insulated liner. Lets a lot of breeze thru in its air mode.
