Looks great! I really like it! Did you customize your stock 2up seat to solo?

It looks very good. Is the seat modification something anyone can do? I like the seat mod a lot and want to do it but don't want to mess it up by not having expertise in it. Thanks in advance.

SuprDave, Ya anyone can do the seat mod, however, It is a little tricky getting it to look smooth in the back where you cut the seat off. I layered a bunch of tape and some foam around the back then streched the leather over that. You Will have to cut the leather and do a little sewing with some heavy duty thread to. It looks low profile compaired to most solo seat options out there now. I used super velcro called sure lock to attach it in the back.

Ya, I fabracated the plate and painted the skull. there's one on the front finder to. The seat mod is awsome if you have another dual seat or dont carry passengers. It's a cheep alternative to a 300 dollar new one.

8sec-z, the whole head light, ignition cover and spedo cover are all flat, must just be the light. The lowering kit is a must I think. It looks better and is much more balanced. It is a little firmer, I set the preload all the way down to the firmest position as I only weigh 160 lbs. That may make it a little lower than 1.5 or 2". I diddn't actually measure before and after.

I sanded mine wet with 600 grit sand paper, used adhesion promoter and satin black paint for plastic. Lots of threads on here about painting your chrome. Use your search feature to find them.
