Yes a guy on another forum claims Michelin has come out with a tire that gets twice the miles as any competitor, Metzler 880, Dunlop, etc. etc. 25k+ Does anyone know if that's true? The commander 2 I think he said. I don't think they make a tire that fits our Stryker or Raider anyway.

Wow I just read some reviews on that tire and looks very promising. Not only are people claiming further miles out of it but alot better handling. I've always run Michelins on my sport bikes but as you said doesn't look like they make it in our size yet.

Idk if 7.5 w rim is factory size... Have not had to replace the tire yet but they do make 240/40vr 18 size for the rear and factory size for front

I used Dunlops on my VTX and would get 10,000 consistently. Others using the same tire only got 5000. I think location and style of riding has everything to do with how long a tire will last.
Same as gas mileage.

all I know is that Phil and I just replaced our Avon 250's.
I got over 16,000 miles and it is currently on a friends
bike who is having rough times and needed a tire....mine
was the venomR. Phil had the Cobra and got over 14,000.
This is a proven tire, we also bought one for our friend Ray,
who rode with his from his Alaska trip and got 15,000 out
of his Cobra.....as for Michelin, I havent a clue.

I assume that's on heavier bikes than the Stryker? Your Raider? And The other bikes?

yes, these are all raiders
And I'm sure you guys use that power a bit. lol. That's some pretty good mileage in my books. I will be looking at Avons for my Stryker if I can't fine the right Car tire.
