If i did this right then a link should appear and it will show that i have replaced the stock seat with a mustang much better i also replaced the stock foot pegs with floorboards i believe 11 has them also and they fit perfectly i did have to adjust the shifter i needed a little more toe room to shift. You will also see pictures of my side plate mount project and cutting of the plastics on the back i also took pictures of the saw i used to cut the plastic then cleaned it up with a dremel. the metal behind the plastic had to be cut so i put a scratch in it to guide me then used the dremel to cut and cleaned it up with a grinder and then painted it black for rust protection. I removed the fender and flipped it over i snipped the wires for the lights yes i said LIGHTS there are to small bulbs that make up the light for the plate i cut the zip ties that hold it in place you will see a connector that goes from 4 wires to 2 so what i did was taped up 2 of the wires rerouted the wires and attached extra lengths of wire using posi taps put a wire loom over the wires and zip tied the wire piggyback to the wires that were already there. After that it was just a matter of attaching the plate and lights i temporarily hooked the lights up just to make sure it all worked. I also will be putting led turn signals in the front that i got from chrome glow i already know that i have to trim it to make it fit because when you get it its the same size as the housing so you have to trim it. I bought two sets of these because i believed they took the same light in the back but they are different so i have a set for sale for the same price i paid but i will ship free. I have other mods i will be doing but i will post them when i get to them.

Everything looks great! I've really been thinking about doing some floorboards on mine too, along with some 3"-4" forward control extensions..... just been waiting on Pacific Coast Star to get together a nice complete extension package. As far as the floorboards, those are the Vstar 1100 boards right? Does everything bolt right up as-is? Can I just get the boards alone or do we require the mount as well?

How are you liking the mustang seat?
Well i have to be honest here at first i thought "this is not what i wanted" but after a few rides i really like it. I would say that the seat is kind of firm but yet still comfortable because of the way it cradles your buttocks and lower back by your tailbone. now i say firm but yet still softer than stock. Now with that said i'am 5'6" and about 200lbs i mention this because somebody taller or shorter than me may feel different about it. when i purchased this seat i thought about a backrest but now i'am glad i did not because that may have kept my lower back from getting that support. on a scale from 1-10 i give it a 9.
