Slow at work today, so started on my winter mods. Took my Cobra Slip-on and shortened by 11-1/2". I always thought the slip-on hung out the back of bike too far. Now I got it where more of the rear wheel can be seen and also Get rear axle out without removing muffler. She sounded great before, but now she is more of a Stock Car sound.

11stryker.. How were you able to find the old no 7 covers for your Stryker. Every website I have gone to indicate that they will not fit our bikes.
Those covers are only made for HD's, so I measured and bought the ones that were the right diameter and machined them to fit.

Looks great. Now you need to upload a sound clip. :)
Hey Patrice & Smoken, I will have my Son help me with a sound clip when we get a chance. Never done that before.

That looks really cool 11. I like it a lot. I think that might be my preference if I wasn't already running the Cobras.
Actually pretty easy to do. I used a Metal Chop saw, Files to clean the sharp metal from cuts. Drill new holes for baffle assy and Chrome tip, Welder to reweld baffle plate to baffle pipe, and I did use a exhaust pipe expander just to slightly tighten in end of baffle to use long bar from inside baffle to knock baffle assy out. I had a picture of this but got lost in the mix. I just used a model brush and some bbq grill paint to touch up end of outer pipe cut.

Reminds me of the Cherry Bombs we use to put on our cars. ;D
Yeah- the old Glass packs from the 50's, 60's and 70's. They are still available as are Thrush Mufflers!
