Bought a new helmet. Wanted to try a modular helmet. It's was cheap but it works good.

Please let us know what you think as far as wind noise and comfort. I tried this helmet on as well as I am considering a modular but it seemed like it was a little void on the padding and I am always wondering how this less expensive brand is on wind noise. I see your Shoei in the background and have been considering the Neotec for my egg shaped head but the Neotec is around $600 online and I just not ready to seperate with that much cash right now.

I paid $400 for the Shoei and $99 ( I paid $55) for the Bilt and they both have pretty much the same wind noise. The padding feels a little cheaper but not bad at all. Everything else works really well. The Flip up parts is awesome when its hot, it lets you breathe!!

I seen these for $39.99 once and decided it might not be worth the Cash. but nice to know it matched up with the expensive model on noise level


Hows the weight, and comfort with less padding?

Weight isn't noticeable. Padding is a bit harder but you would only notice if you are comparing it with a nicer helmet. But I have been using it for a week and it's pretty comfortable to me.

This is a helmet you get if you need second helmet or tight on money.

Thanks for the feedback.. I might have to pull trigger on this brand if nothing else. Always good to have a spare helmet..
