I'm looking for a good motorcycle jack that is reliable and strong. Any additional features or functions it can offer is a bonus. I will be using this on a Yamaha Stryker, stratoliner and honda vtx 1300.
Not wanting to spend more than 300 $
Thanks

Is there a link available to the one you have? I am also looking at investing in the tools and equipment we need to do as much of our bike maintenance ourselves as possible. Toby is building a shed just so we have a nice clean place to pull the bikes in to in order to work on them.

I just Google otc motorcycle jack and Amazon is one company that carries it.

It looks nice, just surprised I haven't heard anything about a craftsman motorcycle jack.

This stand works great, lifts both wheels off the ground and you can spin/move the bike around while working on it. If I remember right I think it was about $400 though
Ouch. ... who makes it?

Just looked up my receipt and I paid $358 + tax, special ordered from the dealer where I bought my Stryker.
Here is the info:
K&L MC550 Multilift rated up to 8,000 lbs
Klsupply.com
apparently you can only order if you are a dealer ... you can't even view the product on their site without a dealer login

Bitchin' tunes too!
The one I linked to (harbor freight) will also lift completely and spin on it's tires but it's cheap Chinese/Korean crap but so far it's worked perfect!
$100... I couldn't walk away from that deal!!
I have the same one from HF ($99.00), I use it all the time. The only thing I don't like about it is the pressure relief pedal. It comes down pretty fast...but then again I never have lifted it more than I need to get the tires off the ground.

As far as landings. As long as you lift on the support bracket that goes across the frame toward the rear (where it's wider) it works wonderfully.

In the reviews on the lift from harbor freight, someone posted pics of a mod they did to the lift to keep it from coming down so fast. It was pretty cool, they took a long carriage bolt, put a handle on the head end, and used a piece of angle iron with a hole in the middle, (nut looked like it was tacked on there) and then another piece of iron fastened so that it guided the carriage bolt end right onto the place where the foot pedal puts pressure to release the lift. This way he could turn the handle of the carriage bolt and it would screw in, apply pressure, release lift in a more controlled manner.
I think if it were me, I would eventually replace the bottle jack that powers the lift with a better jack, looks like it bolts in.
