Searched to see any reviews on the Harbor Freight motorcycle jack and only found 4 threads, checking to see if anyone has purchased it and if it's sturdy and will last for a good bit of use. I have a $50 off coupon for the harbor freight one and the only other jacks I have found are sold at the dealer for $$$ or Sears.

Can get the Harbor Freight one for $69 + tax. The ones I've seen at sears are a little over $100. The craftsman jack at Sears has gotten worse reviews than the HF, it seems to leak oil while the HF jack get bad reviews for being flimsy and lowering the bike to fast.

Anyone have any recommendations ??

I bought that jack once upon a time, put it all together, put it under the bike, started jacking and... nothing. Would not lift the bike. So I stood on it and pumped it up, wouldn't even lift me. I didn't see any leaks, so I got some jack oil and made sure it was filled up. Still didn't work. So I took it back.

Buddy of mine has one, says it works fine and dandy for him. But he doesn't like how it releases - you better be dang sure you want to come down when you push the pedal.

Me, I bought the aluminum jack from HF. It costs a little more, but it seems to be of much higher quality. It releases like a normal floor jack by twisting the handle so you can control the speed much better. I'm not 100% happy with it either because it flexes a lot. I don't really trust it by itself; I use it to put the bike on jack stands if I'm doing any serious wrenching.

Here's two I've found so far

Can buy this one for $69 with coupon

Will be around $150 for this one with coupon

The other craftsman at sears has gotten terrible reviews on the sears site as well as the craftsman site. Would like to spend less than $130

My hotel rewards program was offering half price gift cards to sears but limited to one and up to $50 so i snagged one of them. So I can take another $50 off the craftsman.

Well, what stand is it???!!!!
Lol thinking the same thing, want something that is sturdy. Going to also get a swing arm stand for it, I used the HF one on my sport bike and it worked great.

I think it would come in handy when i pull these PCS links off and put the washer in the correct place. My dad put the washers on the wrong side and went and put washers on the other side too, thinking this was a bad idea now. Anyway this is the main reason i want a jack...And to install my side mount plate and oil changes...etc...etc

I have had a motorcycle lift from PepBoys for years. It's finally wearing out in that it won't release the bike very well. It used to be smooth as butter. Gonna have to buy another.

It's a Torin.

Yea this is one of the ones found but it did not give any info on the HF $60 cheap jack I had been looking at....and possibly still looking at. Although I'm leaning towards the $161 craftsman atm from sears.

Had gotten a $50 gift card to sears ordered yesterday, well went ahead and used some reward points for another $100 one so i can get this jack. Has gotten pretty good reviews all across the inter-web.

I have the Craftsman from sears and have had it for years. I have no complaints. Have used it on my ATV's Motorcycle and riding lawn mowers. I'm happy with it.
Is it the red one

or yellow one

Got my gift card in today and went to sears and found the red/black one Twisted had good luck out of. It was on sale for $99 so i went ahead and bought it, got it home and put it together and tried it out for the first time....

Thx for the feedback everyone, especially Twisted. The jack worked great and was VERY stable even while i was sitting on it while in the air and shaking it side to side ::)

It had some pretty foul reviews but seems to be pretty good jack, same one my dad had after all. He's had his for 6 years he said with no problems so far and it has been far from taken care of.

Mine is similar to Sdsting but red. Bought from Harbor Freight, I believe. It is worthless on the Stryker because the lift pads are not long enough to bridge the frame members. I use a scissors jack in conjunction with a front wheel chock to do my lifting.

Thats why I went with the OTC Brand Jack. Supports are 17" long. 149.00 on sale, but no lift problems and is a brand name jack. I got this one new from SummitRacing.com for 149.99. OTC brand. It has 17" runners that fit perfectly with widest part of frame just ahead of rear tire. with a few inches to spare. All other jacks only have 12" or 14" runners.
