My batwing will be here shortly and I already installed the mounts to the bike just waiting on the fairing now. I remember reading in a thread a while back about the grommet adjustments. I tried to search for it but it wouldn't show up. Anyways what did most people find the best adjustment for it? I remember it being something like upper all the way forward and lower all the way back or something along those lines. Thank in advance for your help.

good questions Cntry -... i've got mine on order as well.. should be here soon. gonna have to watch this thread to see what you do, and see what advice ya get!

I've still have to order my LRS 11" .... waiting to see if they do a memorial day sale, if not... I found that HDF20 will give you 20% off their merch. which covers the shipping... so at least there is that.

Fairing is installed. Mother nature decided to rain hate and discontent on me so I haven't been able to test ride her yet. here are some pics. Once the rain stops I will try and get some better pics.

The parts

Support brackets installed

Fairing and windscreen installed

Wind deflectors installed

That's real nice. Can you send me the part numbers or the info on what to order. I seem to remember that people, order the parts for a victory Vegas. What year model. Do you order the fairing for the Vegas or the one for metric cruisers.

Thanks cntryUSMC. I put the short blvd windshield on mine and it beats me up pretty bad on the interstate. It moved the wind from my chest and put it all on my helmet. I'm only 5' 6" so I hope the BW fairing will change that.

I was able to take her out for a short ride between rain storms. Its an amazing diffrence. I can now hear all the little weird sounds the bikes makes. Even at 60-65 I didn't feel like I was fighting to stay on the bike. It was amazing.

It's a different ride with that shield that is for sure. No more getting beat up by bugs or wind. Enjoy the smoothed out ride and Yes, you will hear the bike more. Don't freak out, the sounds you hear are mostly normal. :D

Hey Cntry - have you rode it without those lower wind deflectors? How much of a difference do those make?
I couldn't stand the batwing without the lower deflectors, It caused the wind to shoot up your legs and pushed my t-shirt up around my neck. It bugged the 4ell out of me until i added the deflectors then the wind no longer pushed my shirt up around my neck. If you only ride with a jacket then you will be fine but if you like to go out in a T-shirt, good luck without the deflectors.

Hey thanks for that info, good to know! When its hot out I definitely ride with a t on... Just added those to my order- only $18 so not bad addition for a bit more comfort on the interstates / hi-ways.
