So i finally made up my mind on a windshield, I ordered a Memphis Shades Bullet. I love how the mounting hardware costs as much as the wind shield. I think i got a good deal, $230 for all of it. I have a friend on the inside of an aftermarket shop. Should be in next week sometime. Ride on! Stay safe!

I just installed one on my bike. Looks great!

Heads up - Install mounting brackets loosely, fit the shade, maneuver the shade to where you want it, then torque down the hardware

Makes a big difference for long rides

I am on the fence about buying one. Hopefully someone that has this can give me some feedback. I am thinking of taking my bike for a 600 mile trip that I have to take for work. I honestly am not a fan at all of windscreens but think i would like one for this trip. How well does the bullet deflect wind? From pictures it looks like it would do a good job of keeping it off your chest but would still catch a lot to the head.

Im not a fan of windshields either and really dont like the ones I call riot shields. I tried the national cycle flyscreen 9 inch screen. It worked but wasnt fully happy with it. So I ordered the bullet screen and other then it changing the style of the bike alittle I love it. Like canadian said it takes wind off chest but does hit face and helmet. But taken many 75 mph hwy trips with it and have no probs with it.

I'm 5' 11" and ride with a half helmet and took about a 200 mile ride today with the MS Bullet on for the first time.

Up to about 60, it's great, no problems, I love it. Once you're up to good speeds like 80+ it really throws some serious wind on your face and pushes your head back. It doesn't feel great after a little while.

If you wore a full face helmet it would probably be a lot better.

I didn't think it did all that much till I took it off for paint. Riding the bike again with out the fairing was a real education in how much of the wind it does deflect. And it looks good besides!

I have had the bullet for awhle now. Great for sub-70 travel. After that buffeting of the head is HORRIBLE!

I have a neck injury, and my neck fatigues fast from jsut a 15 minute ride at 75.

I'm actually debating getting a trigger lock batwing or memphis slim to swap with the bullet for longer rides.

I know this is an old thread but I thought I would add this for anyone looking. My daily commute is 100 miles and the buffeting was terrible at 75 to 80 on the interstate so I bought the booster wing. I am amazed at how much it helps and doesnt take away any looks from the bike.

I finally broke down and ordered the Booster wing for my Bullet fairing. Found it on E-bay for $76 shipped, so not too bad, but not too good. Should be here early next week, anxious to try it out. Better work good Kevin, or you will be hearing from me. LOL

I bought my Stryker about a month ago and the person I got it from had the MS Bullet on it already. I love the look of it but IDK how good of a job it does on deflecting wind since I haven't been on the bike with it off. I'll take it off and go out on the highway and test for it to really have a good opinion about it. On the looks side I love it though. Really gives it that Hot Rod look and takes a little from standard cruiser look.
I bought the tall quick release wind shield off this guy at CL for like $80 brand new! I don't like the looks of it but come winter it makes a huuuuge difference to not have any wind hit your body at 40F or below. So I have it there in the box just waiting for that time of year.
I will also look into the Booster Wing because that looks interesting too, seem that it would help quite a bit.
