Figured I'd start my own thread covering the mods on my Stryker. I find it interesting reading other's so here goes.

These are pics from when I first picked it up from the dealer, and a friend from work sitting on it, and of it's first ride with the temp tags still on it even :)

Since I can't leave well enough alone the first mod I did was putting a Dunlop 240, PCS lowering links, and PCS progressive rear spring on.

Rides nice, no complaints as of date. I'll flip it up to the 1" setting to carry a passenger, and leave it on the 2 1/4" the rest of the time. Bottoms out on big holes but not bad. Miss them and your good ;-)

Nice looking 2012 you got there! Not criticizing here by any means… but I find it curious that you chose to do suspension mods before engine performance mods. IMO this bike needs the most help with power, so I’ve put my first $2k towards power. Are you planning that too or are you just working on suspension? No big deal either way, just curious..
It's a 2011 actually but no biggie ;-) I did the suspension first cause it really bothered me, and I wasn't ready to drop money on stage 1 mods. It does need help with power, agreed.

Next, I installed a new headlight bucket. I used this one off of eBay:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=350577521249

And I used the HM2 mount as well for it. Considered using or making a different mount for it to put it on top of the fork brace, but I like it lower.

I also chopped, flipped and lowered the front fender at this time. Simple, free mod that makes a big difference IMO. I tried to match the angle the best I could and think it came out pretty clean. Probably lowered it 3/4" or so.

So I put new mirrors on too. I used the smaller RAD mirrors. Considered long and hard about just not using any at all, but went ahead with these. Installation took way longer than expected because I HATED the adapters that came with it and decided to trim them down and use them without the nuts. The one on the right I just re-tapped to RH thread not expecting it to work, but it's held real tight so far. I cut the adapter part that threads into the bike down about in half.

I also did the PCS forward extensions at this time, but I don't really have any pictures of that. Pretty straightforward, moves controls up 3" and out about a half an inch. Really love it :) and preferred to move the master cylinder up with the controls and have the longer break line unlike some of the other kits, but to each his own.

Really??.. I was sure that the striping on the tank was speciffic to 2012. guess not, my bad. thanks for the correction.
2012 is solid black with no decals and has the chrome accessories found on the red/blue 2011 Strykers(pipes, rims, air filter cover, rockers etc...) instead of being blacked out. The 2011 has the silver decal on tank and all blacked out.

I like how you did one thread with all the mods you've done over time.

Put an air intake on. Wanted something basic and unrefined so this one from PCS fit that criteria. Both the intake and the adapter are the ones that PCS sells. Installation was simple and straightforward, except for the upper left screw that holds the air cleaner tube on hit the adapter and pushed the air intake away so I had to grind it down a little so it wouldn't create a gap.

Before and after pics.

Here's my headlight mod. I spent a lot of time looking at different bulbs. Wanted something black, and I liked the one that Nyjol used, but wanted something different. I found this one http://www.magnalight.com/p-47194-l...descent-bulb-4-x-10-watt-leds-3600-lumen.aspx and was in love. Yes, it's expensive, but I had to have it.

Had to modify the mount ring inside my bucket by cutting a new slot in it, no big deal. Other than that it was a direct swap out. The only thing I still need to piddle with is that there is no low beam on this thing. I have it wired so it turns on when I flip it over to brights. Maybe it can be wired with a low beam, I'm not sure, but for now I just deal with about 1 in 4 drivers flashing me going by. People hate me following behind them though. Not kidding it's bright. People have pulled over and let me pass.

Finally got my Vance and Hines pipes in the mail. Waited about a month since they were on back-order, but it was worth the wait. Went on great, and look great IMO. I opted to use the heat wrap because I like the size proportions between head pipes and mufflers, and I like the unrefined nature of it. I used thermo-wrap black wrap that I got from NAPA. It faded after curing more than I thought it would, so I ended up taking them off the following weekend and coating the wrap with black VHT. Worked wonderfully. Now it's blacker than black, and blocks even more heat.

Also installed the EJK fuel controller found here: http://electronicjetkit.com/Cruiser/viewproduct.asp?partnumber=9120292

I've run the same programmer on my Can-Am Renegade (800cc V-Twin four wheeler) for 2 years no with no issues. Installation is super simple. Removed the tank, ran the wires up the frame, disconnected the injector cable, plugged it in to the controller, plugged the controller into the injector. Do this for both injectors. These are preset for stage one mods and have no complaints so far. Pops VERY little. Only has one pop very seldomly on hard decel like when I get off the interstate. Doesn't do it all the time. Once in a while it will is all. Throttle is much smoother, more powerful, and doesn't surge at all like it used too. I believe it's the same thing as the g-man ones that are pretty popular on here. Pretty sure, but could be wrong, that all the ones like this are the same. I know the 4 wheeler ones are. Seems like each exhaust manufacturer has their own one, but their the same thing just with a different label on the front.

Some pics I took while out riding last weekend. It's on the 1" setting in these pics because I had a passenger that day.

man I love this headlight. was it difficult to install ? did you have to modify it to fit this bike since it's a HD fit ? Just curious, I've been looking to do something like this for a while now
It's not hard. I used this adapter: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120805347791

I had to mount the adapter upside down underneath the fork brace because it will not fit on top if you have the stock turn signals. I think it might fit with the turn signals removed not sure. Use 2 small diameter bolts long enough to reach through the top of the support. I did not drill any holes for this at all. I just ran them up through the existing mount holes and put a nut on them. The adapter is made to mount a Harley style light so no modifications needed on the mount or headlight either.

Now, the hard part is figuring out what to do with the existing wiring that's cleverly hidden inside the stock headlight. The way I did it, is I separated all the zip ties and junk, then removed the tank, removed some more zip ties along the wiring trunk line, and pulled the hole thing up under the tank and put it in a loop under there to take up the 8 inches or so of slack. Then tightened it all back down again with new zip ties. Cleaned it up real nice IMO.

I can take a close up pic of the mount if you want.

Lookin good!! Could you post a picture of the headlight at night. I am curious how bright it is.
Yeah no big deal I'll get one for you. I'm thinking of trying to tint the cover glass to see if that helps dim it down enough so I don't get flashed all the time lol it would also complete that blacked out look.

I would appreciate that, it really looks bad ass...
