Steve fitted the L&M spring today and the bike looks awesome. I can now put my feet almost flat on the ground. It feels so much better. Haven't ridden it yet though just waiting for a nice day.
Thanks 11Stryker. ;D

Sounds great Jan. Can't wait to do mine. Did you look into the seat yet. Someone was saying that I think it was the Mustang seat pushed him way forward so now he needs forward controls?

Now that you have it lowered check the stability while on the kickstand, some of the guys with Raiders added shorter kickstands after lowering because the bike sat too straight up making it easier for tip over which is an issue when parking on uneven ground....glad you like it now you just need some good weather so you can go out and practice on some twisties before the Rally. :D

Hey Jan, I think kickstand will be just fine. The stock Stryker tips way over and seems like it is going to fall over. I think it is much better when its lowered. Also look at Yamis large poster for the 2011 Stryker and you will see that they put a 1" or larger block under kickstand for their pics. What does that say!! Take care and glad all worked out.

It still leans over a long way. I am sure it will be fine. When I have ridden it I will decide if I need the seat altering.

We noticed that the Raider sits very upright on the stand. A lot more than the Stryker.

Jan take it easy in the 1st ride till ya get a feel for it, lowering the rear will change the dynamics of the overall ride somewhat, feels a little loose at 1st but you will soon realize how much more control you have of the bike, takes much less effort to take turns

MNSTRYKER26, When I lowered mine 1.5, I had to adjust my headlight.

Shane is right, take it easy at first becuase it is quite a change. The biggest difference I notices is when truning my heels hit the pavement almost every time. It still make me jump at times! But I absolutely love the way it handles now.

With my size 4 feet I doubt that will be a problem for me. ;)

I usually ride with my heal on the pegs for some reason anyway. Maybe because I know know I would ube grinding my heals down . When I lower my bike I will just have to slow down a bit. :(
