So....I finally got to ride my bike a bit after buying it in Jan. I noticed it was hesitating a lot and riding kinda rough. Was a bit PO'd since it's basically new and was hoping for a non-problem bike. I assumed it was my fi2000 so, I pulled it off the bike and called Cobra.

I bought the bike used with 2,000 miles on it and no sales receipt. When I talked to Cobra I offered to pay for any repair. He said to send it in and they would let me know what's wrong. I got a call back a few days later telling me the board had got moisture inside and was rusting away. They replaced the board with a brand new one and sent it back. I hooked it up instantly and took her for a ride. Bike runs like a champ!

I am totally impressed with them fixing this at no cost to me. I'm in the market for a sissy bar and I see Cobra has them now. Going to buy the mini version very soon. Great customer service will definitely keep me loyal. Anyone install a cobra mini yet?

ps....my dad has a 05' vstar 1100. He rode my bike yesterday and when he pulled the bike in the garage he was all smiles. Told me how great the bike was, how it sounded sweet and was a whole heck of a lot faster than his. Love this bike!

Same here- I only had 1 issue and they mailed me a new unit free of charge, and they trusted me to return my unit to them in same box. That's Loyalty!

Good to hear. I just pulled the trigger on their slip on yesterday. Couldn't afford or justify $700 for the black swepts.

Get that Goose fiberglass wrap! They will sound better!

I checked out several websites and ended up buying from Powersport Superstore out of TX via Amazon. If you go directly to their website the price is $289 but via Amazon it's $219. Free shipping and no sales tax. That's an 8% discount for me. TwoCycleGuys.com has it for 205 + shipping but they are East Coast, I am on the West Coast and impatient.
