SO for some time now I have been trying to fiquire out what to do to change the taillight ,the hole thing is just to much, I have always liked the brittness of the factory setup , and I think all of us have already gotton rid of the duck tail ,so here is what I ended up with.

what I did was just removed the plastic housing flipped the taillight over sat it in the fender and used 2 L brackets to hold it in place, there are also 2 bolts and washers securing it on the bottom ,turned out to be pretty simple . I have not mounted the blinkers yeat maby on my luggage rack.

Why did you take the fender off?

Thats better than what I intented with the blinkers in the taillight.
I took the fender of to notch the subframe for clearance with the 250 tire for lowering.
