Today test rode and HD fatboy LO. I found the HD to be smoother in shifting, take a bump in the road a littler better, and more manueverable b/c of the shorter wheel base. It had a tuner, VH swepts, and new HD air intake. The first up shift in our bikes or the down shift to first is brutal to me. But after that the HD was much more smoother than our bike. And with the tuner, BAK, and cobra slip on my bike was much faster and much more responsive that the HD. Also bare in mind the HD is 1690cc and only about 50lbs different in weight. I thought it was awesome, til I got back on my stryker. Much better looks, more style, meaner looking, took a turn and bump better than I originally thought, and the big show...performance. With the EJK it was much more responsive, much faster, and more torque. With brand new bags, mid smoke windshield, detachable short back rest, and matching yamaha bags for the stryker, with 4200 miles on it I gave a hair over 10 for it. Add 2500 more miles and another 6 grand to obtain the HD. I actually thought about making a trade. So I googled HD Fatboy Lo upkeep. Took 10 minutes to decide I am keeping the Stryker.

Next bike for a test ride was a 2010 Victory king pin. Ocean sand in color, matching flaring, performance exhaust, linbar, cruise, mustang seat with rear backrest (NICE) and too many other extras to mention. I had test rode a 2013 vegas before buying the stryker, but thought the kingpin might be nicer this time. Wrong. It was not even in the same league with the styker in anyway. Maybe shifted a little nicer but thats it. I went about 3/4 of a mile and turned around. That 106 freedom didn't have the sound nor performance.

But now after actually riding "in a bike, and not on top" of it..meaning we actually sit down lo in our bikes, and that was the same scenario for the fat boy...I will never own another bike that I don't actually sit down in.

The whole point of this whole post....we have a really nice bike, but the addition of an air intake and the EJK...especially the EJK is absolutley amazing. I can't believe the difference in my bike. The first fill up with the EJK I was practicing stop and go drag racing, and high speed. Avg...31mpg. The second was a little of that...36mpg. Before the EJK and the BAK it was 38-40. The last fill up with just everyday riding and two interstate trips to work 42.6mpg!!! That was riding about 80-85mph on the interestate. I couldn't believe it! The settings I used were the same that one of the other posters used to make his bike scream. His post is in the HOW TO section under the GMAN bully review. The engine stutter that is present in our bikes in first gear til about 20mph, gone. The surging, gone. Well...let me clarify that. No more surging and chugging, roll on the throttle now and there is a snap. A mustang pulled up to me at a light and I was riding two up. He didn't have a cobra gt or anything fancy. I don't know if it was a V6 or 8. He didn't rev his engine or anything, light turned green and he hammered it. He got a good jump...I tapped my girl and hammered mine. I was over taking him when I only got to 2nd shifting 3rd. I couldn't believe it. I do still get a little gurgling, and popping on a hard decel. I can live with that as I have read if I keep adding fuel in the cruise mode of the tuner I will lose that snap. And really...the popping some doesn't bother me.

Alright guys there is my review of the EJK and the Stryker. The EJK with the forum discount cost me 250, and the BAK was 260. Oh one other thing..the slip on did get louder with the EJK and BAK installed. It doesn't have the Harley rumble, but isn't far off now. The HD growls, and the Stryker snarls.

Excellent choice.

I will say that I don't drag race the bike much, but you get a bunch of guys together and eventually someone tries to figure out who has the fastest bike. I have never been beaten on my Stryker with EJK tuner, cobra intake and V&H pipes:) Some of it was probably rider, but most of it was the bike. Riding with several H-D guys, and they assume the 1200 sportster has to be faster. Funny to hear them scold the other rider losing to a Yamaha.

I'm happy to hear that the EJK, Cobra Intake, and V&H pipes works... I have all but the EJK and mine sputters at cruising speeds. I'm in the process of getting the EJK now.
EJK will fix that for the most part. At least on mine it did

Okay guys, just wondering. I was reading several posts about different settings for the EJK fuel management system which actually convinced me to go ahead and buy one. My question is that I noticed several people mentioned not having the O2 sensor plugged in, does this actually give you better fuel performance? I have a 2011 Stryker and I've just ordered a V & H Twin slash staggered full exhaust that I will be replacing my Cobra swept exhaust with. My ultimate goal is to eventually order a different breather as well, not sure which one yet. So O2 or no O2? Thanks
