Hey. My name is Kenny and I like long rides on the beach.... lol. I've been a motorcycle enthusiast since I was a kid, but got my license about 5-6 years ago and haven't looked back since. I started out on an 83 Suzuki GS550e knowing that I could drop it and not care. Then once I got comfortable I moved up to a 2005 R6 which I just recently sold about a week ago.

Ever since I first laid eyes on her 2 years ago at MotoGP Indy, I knew that somehow, someday I would own her. Well after my R6 sold for more than I was expecting, and with interest rates ever so tempting, I decided to pull the trigger and go for it. It is like a custom made bike just for me... the positioning of the pegs / controls, and the positioning of the bars is absolutely perfect.

And without further ado.... the pics!!!

A whopping 5 miles on her... the distance between the dealer and my house.. lol

I am like a little kid in a candy store right now... lol.

Christmas wish list:
Vance & Hines slash cut pipes
Integrated tail / fender eliminator
Maybe a little lighting (not entirely sure yet)

They put a lot more chrome on the 2012 Raven and no graphic on the tank I see.

It looks nice but I don't think I would call it a Raven package. Correct me if I'm wrong here but I think it is just a black Stryker because it has all of the chrome pieces as the red and blue colors. You can't go wrong with black and chrome.

It's a 2012 Raven. That's how they come now. Saw the tag on one at the dealer tonight when I was there getting mine inspected.

I haven't really researched too much into the Ravens, but is there really a power difference? I know with my R6, the Raven was nothing more than a color package. We actually used to bust balls (all in good fun) on the R6forum to the guys who came on acting like their Raven was the fastest R6 around. Engine / performance wise there was zero difference. Is it the same with the Stryker or does the package include more than just colors? Once I get the Vance & Hines on them, it will get rid of a bit more chrome. I am not a chrome guy at all, but a little here and there doesn't bother me. My R6 was 100% blacked out (smoked tail, smoked headlights with HIDs to ensure adequate light output, powdercoated pegs / rearsets, blacked out exhaust, etc).
