Looks great. CONGRATS!!!

Wished I could've warn you about the bags though. I had the same ones with my Raider and the first pair started ripping on the straps, so after holding on to them for 3-4 weeks they authorized I get a new set. These lasted longer, but eventually almost fell apart. I love the expandability and the ease of getting into them with the zipper, but the weather coating around the zipper eventually starts peeling. The sides of the bag warp in the sun and eventually the zippers will go bad. Sorry to drop this on you. Just coming from bad experience with them. I would never buy them again.

I ended up going with Tsukayu vinyl-wrapped Coner hard bags and even though I've only had them for a few weeks, I absolutely love them.

Your bike looks AWESOME though and you picked the very best color.

Thanks for the heads up on the bags, I guess I will keep an eye on them. Maybe use some UV protectant on them hopefully slow the distortion and damage down.
The distorting was from the heat on the sides that I think are basically plastic. They will geta wrinkled look to them when they're too hot. It'll go back into place, but as soon as they're hot again they get the same look. Now keep in mind I'm also in AZ.

I think.....you should clean that front end up some......remove
the fork guards and reflectors.....it gives that front end an
awesome look!!! Believe me, I did it to my raider after seeing
Phil taking his off....I looked at his, then looked at mine, and
took it all off.

I admit, it really cleans it up! Deja has won some trophys with her bike. Here's why they are there: the guards protect fork seals from bugs, dirt, rocks, etc. I leave mine on, but I like the look of Deja's way better. If Yamaha went to the expense of putting them there, then I choose to use them. The choice is up to you, but i thought i would give the other side of the reason they are there. Several companies make and sell after-market ones in several different types of material, and configurations.

I wont remove my fork guards because I was talking to a guy who owned a VTX and he cut a stone in the spot the guards are meant to protect and it ended up costing him quite a bit to fix. I'm with RedStar. Yamaha put them there for a reason and I'm keeping them.

I will be looking into make some customizations soon.
1st on the list is removing the warning stickers from the tank and luggage rack.
2nd will be to drill the exhaust for now.

Most manufactures will put a sticker on the luggage rack indicating will not support more than 10 lbs. which is fricken rediculas!! The sticker is there to keep people from sitting on them, and breaking the unit, and blaming them for poor workmanship. It is designed for luggage not people!! I have used mine with 50-60 lbs. of T-baggage several times over thousands of miles. I have used the Star, and Cobra brand racks with best results.
