My screen and engine bars will be fitted this weekend. Was going to put my saddlebag bars on but I may get a small sissy bar now so would only have to take them off again.

What is the short quick release sissy bar like? Any good? 8)

I have it on my bike and honestly I should have saved the extra money got the regular (non-quick release) one. I never take it off and if I wanted to it is only 4 bolts.

I think it does, but what's common about the quick release is that many buy it thinking they will put it on only when needed(whatever that may mean to the individual) but find that it doesn't usually happen - human nature me thinks

Took me all of ten min. to remove mine when I worked on tail lights. Not worth the extra $$$ IMO

That is exactly what I thought " I will put it on when my daughter rides with me" Yeah well is it has never come off unless I was cleaning or modding something on the bike.

Keep some time for yourselves, and that way you'll have time to do such things as this!!

I have the short standard. I love the way it looks. Especially since I lowered the rear. Knew I was never going to take it of before I bought it though. But if you think you will be taking it of and you have saddle bags then you might want the quick release unless you want to take them both of at the same time. Still only 4 bolts but a bit more of a hassle. But to me the extra $$s aren't worth the quick release. Plus the ugly mounts stick out when you remove the back bar with the quick release. Just my opinion.
