Finally had the bike the way I wanted it. Took a very slow ride down my road(empty) to listen
for an exhaust air leak. Turned around in less than half a mile and a deer put me and bike into
the roadside runoff ditch. Years of leaves and soft dirt left me with just scratches, but the front
and side of the bike look like crap. Ugggghhhh totally disgusted. I'm trying to look on the bright
side and think toward finally getting the stupid Raven wings off the tank,,,,but right now it's
real tough being positive. Will definitely be taking up deer hunting.

glad your alright I just had a doe run out right in front of me yesterday on the stryker. I slammed on the brakes and of course the deer stops right in front of me luckly just before I hit her she jumped out of the way. Crazy son of a B---h. After the tire smoke cleared I rolled on cussing.

I killed a doe last year when I t-boned it doing about 55 on dark country road on my other motorcycle. I kept it on 2 wheels luckily. It only broke my fender, broke the key off in the ignition, broke a reflector & bruised my shin. Since then I have traveled cross country on my Stryker twice on back roads and always make sure I stop riding by dusk. Course part of the reason is so I don't miss the scenery, but mainly because I fear hitting a deer again.

I got T-Boned a few years ago in the driver's side of my truck. Happened in December at night. $3000 worth of damage. I've been on a mission ever since to thin the deer population. Glad you're OK. Coulda been much worse.
