Finally got my pipes in. I ordered them about three months ago and they finally arrived. Could not wait to install them so here it is.

Installation took me about 1.5 hours and I am in no way handy with tools. I would say the instruction sheet that came with them gets a 8 out of a perfect 10, so that is pretty good.

The sound is excellent, hopefully you can hear it in the youtube video I will try and embed in the message. The video shows ten seconds of stalk exhaust followed by ten seconds of new exhaust. I left the baffles in.

On my first ride out I discovered an issue with the new pipes. Check out the rear pipe, it wraps forward then bends backward. This causes the pipe to come out quite a bit from the bike therefore my right foot can not sit correctly on the right foot peg not to mention burning the hair of my calf on the right side because my leg is right on the exhaust. Im going to have to look at moving the foot controls forward about two inches to make it a little better.

The pipes make the bike a whole new bike. They sound amazing. No difference on the power that I can notice.

I had a feeling that rear pipe would be an issue that is why I went with the slash staggered pipes. they run closer to stock routing near the engine. Anyway, welcome to the V&H family! Looks good.

My controls were moved forward before I got my V&H so that was never a problem for me , did you install the 1 inch spacers and heat shields for your controls and brake.

3 1/4 inches with the generic kit that is sold. I don't have a link for you but there is several topics on this forum about it.
