Yes, I am asking the opposite question from most people.

What is the narrowest tire I can fit on a stock rim and stock Height Stryker. With the 18" rear wheel I don't know if a 180/55/18 will fit as its about an inch taller (along with approximately an inch narrower). Before everyone hangs me or sets me on fire; I am working turning my Stryker into a bobber style bike and wide tires just don't fit the look. As a side advantage, it may improve the responsiveness / turning ability of the bike with a narrower tire. Its still wide, comparably speaking, many sport touring motorcycles run a similar size.

Any input?

The stock tire allready had a pretty straight sidewall to it, don't know if I'd want to go to much smaller than that? The inch taller should be OK as long as you don't drop too far. I've been readin your posts on goin bobber, you could pull it off with a fatty! I cut my fender and not sure I like it so it'll get chopped short, bobber style most likely(trying to save it) I'll post a pic so you can see what it'd look like before you do yours. Could save you a fender purchase?

Appreciate it Straightjacket; look forward to the pics. I'm just thinking if I'm going to make my Stryker different, I'll really make it different. I just don't want to adversely affect the handling or comfort.
