So the Wife is demanding a back rest. She's afraid of falling off the back. I want the black one to match the bike. What are the best options and where are the best places to order from? Just looking for some feedback from folks who have already been there. Thanks.

Well your options are limited in black for sure. I love the factory short backrest. It has a style that compliments the bike and it works great. The spacers between the fake fender struts and the backrest support arms make a great place to hook bungee cords on each side. Cobra has several backrests available and you could get them powdercoated.

The Cobra just looks like chrome bar stock and looks worth about 1/3 of the price they're asking for. I gotta agree with Reaper on all of the above.
