Like the subject line says, looking for advice on patching my tire. Found a small staple inside of tread that is giving me a small leak in rear tire. Don't have a way to get wheel off for internal patch which means going with a plug. Thoughts and concerns???

None of the shopd around here would do it. I have a friend who works at a shop who was going to do it for me. But I already had 7k miles on it and figured i'd just go ahead and change it.
Well none of the local shops would touch it, understandably so for liability reasons. Patched it myself and it is holding air such no issues. However, I haven't ridden it since the patch and already its all I can think about. Even if the patch will hold up on easy riding, when I commute I usually break the 100mph mark. Also the work was done by someone who managed to knock out there own front tooth while working on a bike .... don't ask me how I know... so I don't know how much I trust it. Less then 1000 miles on the new 240, and ordering a new one tomorrow.
