I ordered a set of Rush exhausts almost 3 weeks ago from West End Motorsports. After speaking to the boys at West End as to what the holdup was, they said that Rush has the pipes in stock but for some reason have yet to deliver them. I've sent an email off to Rush asking about the situation, (4 days ago), and they haven't responded to my inquiry. So, from date of order to potential delivery, I will have waited a minimum of a month for a set of pipes...if they should be shipped today.

My question is should I just wait it out or pull the plug on the order? Feel free to tell me that I'm being impatient, I've just never had to wait so long for something without being told first.

It seems wierd that they havn't sent them out if there in stock? But they could be waiting on a bracket or bushing or something to make it complete? If there the pipes you want just wait it out, or you'll allways be thinking, "Man, those are the pipes I wanted" when you see them on someone elses bike!

Yeah, I've been anonymously patrolling these boards for a while and I knew you guys would speak up if I asked!

IMO....pull order and get something similar. V&H's are similar.

Just got off the phone with West End and apparently Rush gave them some crap about waiting on chrome for the pipes AFTER they had already said that the pipes were in stock. Mike (West End rep), called Rush while I waited and Rush came back with yet another story, the pipes were on backorder. Needless to say, Mike used some colorful words to describe Rush's customer service and that I was the 5th instance this year alone where they had been given the same story. All previous buyers had pulled their orders from Rush.

In the end, I went with a set of V&H...they were my tied-for-first choice anyway and the pipes would be shipped to me Monday. So, for those of you looking at purchasing from Rush...be ready for a long wait, regardless of what they tell you.
