I have left side dogbone off and lower bolt out but cannot see any possible way to remove top bolt. instructions say you may need to pull down on radiator resevoir to remove but this doesn't seem to work either. Anyone installed these successfully help would be greatly appreciated. '12 Stryker Raven

It has been a while since I did this, but I do remember having to pull down the the resevoir. It is tough, but it will come out. I had my father help and I think I had him lift the back tire up a little also. Just remember that it took pressure off and was able to put the bolt out and it layed on top of the resevoir till I went to the other side and pulled it out.

You will have to use the jack to raise or lower the bike to get the bolt to clear and it will come out cleanly that way, same for the bottom bolt.

Thanks for all the quick responses and it did work. The instructions that come with it aren't really clear but I finally got it to work fine.

See, this is why I joined the forum. Yeah, there are some great ideas, but the help from guys (and girls) that have already had experience with things and sharing tips/tricks is great.

Pull up and down on the Rear fender. work it a little at a time it will come out!
