I'm not sure but I think the Stryker wheel base is to long for a hitch mount.? The correct weight of the Stryker is 646 lbs.

Oh and it takes a lot of truck to hold more than a 500 lb tonuge weight. What kind of truck do you have and what is the tongue weight rating on it. I don't think you can get a carrier with more than a 600 lb tongue weight.

I have a 2006 f-250 deisiel with the upgraded tow package I'm thinking that carrier tow behind would work good cause I could strap the tire and also strap to each arm just like if it was in a truck and it should tip left or right

Here's my concerns, Your rear tire will take more stress than normal and with the tire spinning I would be concerned with what the transmission is doing. The trans is lubricated by the oil which is pumped by the oil pump that only works when it is running? So even though this might be a quick fix to your towing problem I wold contact a Yamaha dealer before towing your Stryker that way. Since you are getting one anyway I would try to get the full bike trailer before spending money on that. You can get decent trailers for a few hundred dollars more than that tower. Just my thoughts.

Agree with Toby. I think the manual specifically states to not tow like this. And depending on the distance you are traveling you'd also be putting extra miles on the rear wheel. Too bad though because I like this approach especially once you get somewhere since you could detach the hitch and park in a regular spot. Probably works for some bikes but not the Stryker.

Do not tow the bike - either put it in the back of the truck or just rent a U-haul 6 X 10 trailer...they're less than $20 per day....if you tow it you could cause damage like Toby said - not to mention other damage that could be caused by road debris - I learned a long time ago taking the cheap route is usually the wrong road to travel.

The Stryker should fit on the runner that is on the near side of the trailer in that photo. A friend of mine has that exact same trailer and both our cruisers fit on it.

I called the guy and he said all the runs are the same and are 84" long and the bike is 99" problem?
The total length is 99.6" but what you need to do is measure from the leading edge of the front tire to the center of the rear axle...also you need to know the width of the rails to make sure ther rear tire will fit into it.

I have a Raider not a Stryker...measuring from the leading edge of the front tire to the center of the rear axle is 86"...if you look at the wheel base specs on the Stryker & Raider you'll see that there is a difference of 2" so just making an uneducated guess the measurement would be 84" for the Stryker...also I'm running a 240 so I would need a rail that was at least 9" wide.
It's hard to tell for sure in the pic of the trailer if the back of the rails extend out the same distance...if they do then the center rail is longer.

Not sure if this may help, but I have looked up a 8.6'X20' enclosed trailer for just over 6k in the Seattle area. Is this something that you may be interested in, or no?

Ya I would love a enclosed but I just bought a truck so moneys real tight so if I could find something cheap then I would save up for a enclosed trailer.

Thx for the measurements the guys 3 rail trailer is about 84 in ans the wheel might just fit I have the big style wheel on the back also.
