so I changed the faceplate on my speedometer and it all went great till i went to mount the housing back to my bike.... I seemed to of misplaced the three screws on the back side that hold it to the bike.... So if someone could remove one of those screws and possibly tell me the size of it and maybe post a pic of it also, that would be great.... Thanks in advance for any help with this...

Those are not a regular thread. They seem to be a very coarse thread, I notice that only a few turns gets them in. I don't know how to find the size. Maybe a parts list online will tell you the size.

Is that app still in beta?
I'm not sure. I tested it for a week or so , and they sent me a Yamaha hat and flashlight. It a cool app. You can load your vin, and then it has the owners manual and service recommendations. You can also buy service manual or just sections of service manual.

I see reference to it here: http://yamahamotorsportsapp.com/, but see nowhere to download it and it's not in the google store.

You should email it to me! :D
I don't think I have the file, but I could check if its still on my computer. I don't remember. Do you have android phone?

Yes, I have the Galaxy S3. And, with the proper instructions and an app called Ghost Commander, you would be able to email me the app directly from your phone if it doesn't require SU privileges to copy the .apk file (and even then but your phone would have to be rooted first). :)
