Need Input On Big Air Kit?

From past experience with other bikes, an Air Kit alone won't improve performance much.
To get the benefits of increased airflow, you need a way to let that flow out. Aftermarket pipes or a modified exhaust system (baffle removal at the minimum).
Think of it this way: You can inhale as much air as you want, but if you can't breathe it out as fast it does no good.
If you do both mods, you'll also need a PowerCommander to be able to tune the bike richer to compensate for the increase in air intake, or you'll run the bike too lean and burn out valves or even pistons eventually. With a PC you'll also lose fuel economy some.
With that being said, I like the look of it. You should get some custom pinstripes on the fenders in the same color/old school style. Really make it stand out!

He is correct, with just the big air.....no go, pipes, big air and fuel processor
is the correct way.....you also need a dyno tune and it will be all decked out
and ready to give anyone a run ....... ;D

Deja is right, not too expensive. You can always start with pipes on the bike (with baffles, if not leave em off), then buy the processor and air kit later. Once you have all 3 put them on and dyno that bad boy. You'll potentially see several ponies added and more torque and a higher top end from the less restrictive air flow.

do some looking around...even take a peek into the raider
forum, Im not sure, but I suppose fuel processors would
be the same and theres always someone getting rid of
different ones. I know v8 vega has a cobra fi2000 real cheap,
like 50.00. He just wants to get rid of it.
