I have all the bolt on stuff but now I am looking for some info on getting my heads ported and polished and maybe cams. I just want more power
Theres always the option of getting the platform with the bigger engine, yes. But half the fun is starting off with "x" and making it your own, despite cost and ease. You could argue your point with any performance mod on any vehicle and state "why didn't you just get something better in the first place?" My answer is, because I canMentat said:Seems to me it would have been cheaper and easier just to buy a Raider. But I'll still me watching this thread for educational purposes. 8)
Here it is for the Raider!!! Yeah maybe we could check with them for a Stryker one!!!dejablu110 said:I know Patrick Racing is very big on Yamaha performance, try getting in
touch with them. They do a 120ci kit for the raider and may be already
working on something for the stryker, if not, they may.
hehehehe ... I'm hoping to take a ride on this bad boy at the rally next weekend.Mentat said:Seems to me it would have been cheaper and easier just to buy a Raider. But I'll still me watching this thread for educational purposes. 8)
SLEEPING FACTOR ? I would agree if we were talking about more power for a scooter, or something that doesn't appear fast. Like putting 600HP in a smart car, but everyone I've met thinks the Stryker is super fast, because of the way it looks. They also think its larger then 1300CC. So by just making it faster on this bike, doesn't give it the sleeper factor. It just affirms what they already believe.11Stryker said:It's all in the "sleeper" thing when we want to take what we got and make it perform better than stock. Go for it!!
Ya most of the time I have my better sense riding right along with on her own bike lol. So I take it easy.snowman68 said:Omg Toby you're one crazy sob....way to go on showing its not one to be toyed with chances they are going to underestimate it. I agree for a bike it's far from being fast but being a v twin and it's size it's impressive, and a little extra power is always nice..... But Toby I think you should come with a warning sticker on your helmet
