Have you used these? If so, what does it really take to put these on? I would like to see the instructions before buying.

I have not, I just found their site while looking for a link for my hubbys bike. I currently have the PCS link and would like to know how these work before I purchase. I am currently lowered 1" but would like to lower to about 1 1/2". If anyone purchases I want to know how easy they are and what their thoughts are about the product.

Above is for single link.
STRYKER

DO NOT adjust links prior to installation. The links are pre-set to identical lengths.
Left hand threads are designated by notches on the center hex body.

Use Red Loctite on all threads.
The maximum hole center-to-center length of these links is equal to the length of the center hex body + 3 ½ inches. DO NOT EXCEED THIS LENGTH!

1. Remove current links (dogbones).
2. Install Soupy’s Lowering Links with the flat side of the ends facing in, noting the following:
- Kawasaki ZX14 uses provided aluminum spacers and longer bolt on bottom, front link mount.
- ‘86-‘07 Ninja 250 use (2) provided steel spacers behind each lower link mount.
3. Tighten lowering link mounting bolts and nuts.
4. Inspect bike height; adjust as desired (not to exceed the maximum link length). Be sure to adjust each link equally and in the same direction.
5. Apply Loctite and tighten link locknuts.

I use similar links from that company on one of my CBRs. It's super simple and effective, and the price was not bad. My favorite part is that you can run it anywhere from stock height to tire-rubbing low with a simple adjustment.

I use these types of bars all the time on the race car and it really is a simple process. The only thing you have to do is adjust evenly if you turn it one full turn on one side you do the same on the other. I am sure this item will work just fine. I find it funny that i read the add and they say it's not made of aluminum and thats perfectly fine but trust me if it was it would definitely hold up we run about 10 of these on a 2500 lbs 800+hp big block dirt modified on a very rough hard clay racetrack and they hold up to all of that no problem.

I think it's speaking to more about the threads. It's easy to strip aluminum threads. If they didn't have any threads I wouldn't be worried about it's strength either. But some of us know how easy it is to over tighten our oil bolts into our aluminum engine cases...

Was thinking on ordering the Soupy's adjustable links this week. Searched Ebay and anything cheaper seems to be made from aluminum. Or if there is a good price, than the shipping is higher...ARG! Will order the Soupy's, but can't post on how they work out till riding weather.....late March or April here.

I installed Soupy's on my bike last week. Nice parts, good directions and everything went smoothly. Looks like about a 2" drop with the way they come set up so I left it there for now. Make sure you pay attention to the notches on one end of the link and get them both in the same direction, I got everything tightened up took some pics for my Mods thread and noticed I put one in upside down. No biggie, 10 minute job to turn it around but had to kick myself for doin it! I'm in the same boat re: test ride, won't be till late March or so till things thaw out enough around here for a test ride. Brand new bike, lot's of changes and I haven't even ridden it yet!

Thanks for the tip! Could see me doing the same thing. Spring will feel like Christmas when we finally get our bikes out for a run with all our new mods
