Lots of us actually have this brand including myself. I highly recommend it. Its bright and has the option of several brake strobe settings. The integrated brake lights aren't DOT approved so use at your own risk.

I think there is a DOT mandate that the turn signals have to be separated by "X" number of inches and that is why we have the lollypops. I think many of these aftermarket lights do not meet those minimum requirement so as Mike said "use at your own risk".

I have this on mine, but I also left my low profile turn signals mounted in the stock holes. So I wonder if this would get me by, since I still have them in the stock location too. Very bright tail light, strobe when you first apply brakes is very noticeable. I am very happy with it.

That is a GREAT deal! I bought mine direct from Custom LED when it was first released for $125 + shipping. These work great and look fantastic when flush mounted...

Here's a great How-To thread on flushing this bad boy up!

did you have to install the load equalizers and the "recommended" relay with this kit? Does it come with a mounting bracket or do you need to hack the fender to do the install?

I used the $20 ELFR-1 relay to make all the blinkers blink at the stock flash rate. It simply replaces the factory one...too easy

As far as the install...the Blaster X light will bolt right into the factory plastic housing with no issue as it's a direct replacement. However if you want a trick flush look you'll have to do some modifying to the factory duckbill. You'll see the how-to thread on that job earlier in this thread.

Ok, thanks! I've had that install how-to bookmarked for a while. However, on their site They call it a "plug and play complete tail light" installation. I was hoping it came with a bracket like some of the other kits out there...

By “plug and play” they're referring to the wiring aspect. The harness connectors on their taillight plug right in to the bike harness with no modification required...you don’t have to cut and solder anything to wire the light up.
