Hey everyone, did a quick search and didn't find anything on boots. I'm looking for some good riding boots. I want to get something made in USA and am currently searching the web. What are you folks using and any good places to buy from?

Boots are a big thing for me. I need to be comfortable but yet protected. I've gone through a lot of makes and styles and finally found a pair I love. They are light, but give a lot of protection. The biggest selling point was I can walk around with them and not feel like I'm wearing a heavy pair of boots. That use to bug me when I road somewhere and wanted to do some site seeing. Check them out, they cost me $100 which I though was great.

Ive got a pair of River Road engineer style boots and a pair of tall HD boots. The RR's are more comfortable to walk in, but the HDs feel better and give me a little better access to controls while on the bike.

Midlife, are you seriously saying you ride your motorcycle wearing full-quill ostrich boots? I just paid a ton for some beautiful Lucchese full quill ostrich and there aint no way I'm riding in them...
