Hey all,

Just picked up a 2013 Red Stryker here in Albera, Canada - attached is a pic of it. Already racked up 1100km on it and had its break in service! So far i LOVE the bike!

I am planning on heading down the Pacific Coast Highway in a few weeks. For that ride I am getting a set of Hardstreet slim saddlebags and a Cobra 4" slip on to help accomodate the bags.... and for sound! Windscreens have been a bit of a snag as the Yamaha ones seem to be on backorder in the area. Hopefully it all works out in time...

If anyone has suggestions on must see/do things while on the PCH please feel free to let me know. At this time I plan to go all the way down to LA.

Welcome to the addiction.
I have property on the beach in Ocean Park Wa and some of my usual drives include La push, (If you're headed that far North in Wa), Long beach Wa, (Similar to Seaside Or but smaller, less crowded) across the river into OR check out Columbia river park and campground, Nice place to stay at the NW tip of OR.
Then to Seaside, then Cannon beach and haystack rock. It's the scene you see in ALL the west coast pictures!
Great park and campground at Ecola State Park.

You're on your own south of there, That's as far as I drive from the beach place in an afternoon!

Here, try this.. http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/parks/Pages/index.aspx
And this one!... http://travel.nationalgeographic.com/travel/road-trips/california-pacific-coast-road-trip/

Personally, I would avoid Southern Cali unless you like rude people who drive like A Holes.
I won't drive south, past Redding!

Thanks for the info! I'll look into it. At this point there are no plans to go further than LA - it really depends how quick the pace is. Have to stop and smell the roses, right?? haha.

Thanks everyone else for the warm welcomes as well.

Just installed the Cobra Slip on and Hardstreet Slim saddlebags. I could not be happier with how it all worked out. The bags I got were not the "HR" edition, there is no way they would fit as low on the bike as they do without the Cobra exhaust.
