Hey all, this is an awesome site and has really helped me clarify the decision on the purchase of a Stryker. I've been a guest for a while just seeing all that it has to offer with mods and help. I plan on purchasing toward the end of the year (hope I can stand it that long)

SHIMBO, I happened to (ok I planned to) stop by the cycle sports center today and the guy I spoke with today I was telling him about the creation with your bike and low and behold he said he was the one who sold you the bike when he was at CFpowersports. He already filled me in about the halo's you do before I said anything. Small world for sure!

Sweet!!! Now that's what I call a welcome! I saw thru Sky powersports in lakeland, they had a raven for $8990 and a the blue for $9490. I'm kinda leaning toward the blue myself. Not sure if they can do better than that but I will most definitely be giving them a call.

Just looked it up, and can't believe it. That's where I bought my used intruder from 16 years ago. I initially was looking at the fury, and by mistake I accidentally pulled into a dealer I thought was a honda dealer. After I realized it I was already out of my truck and didn't want to look stupid going back to my truck and leaving so I went in to browse and that's when I saw the Stryker. After I left I went to the honda dealer to look at the fury again. I couldn't get the Stryker out of my mind. Since then I have done a lot of research and hands down the Stryker won out. It just looks, sits, feels and sounds awesome!!!! Made me feel like I was back in high school again with puppy love or lust in this case. Now its just waiting time. Its gonna go slow... :-[

Thanks Skematik! Since watching these forums, I already have a list of mods I will do to the bike early on. Pipes, PowrPro tuner, side mount for license, LED mod for brake/tail light and forward control kit. I keep torturing myself by going back to the dealer way too often. It's an addiction for sure. I am mechanically inclined, but its nice to know people have your back for those scratch your head moments.

I'm waiting on two things. 1st we are starting with building a house and need to make sure all goes well with the beginning of it. 2nd, if I wait till I finish this remodel job I'm currently doing then I don't have to finance it. The second is the biggest to me cuz cash talks A LOT!!

I just had the opportunity to test ride the stryker. I don't think I'll be able to wait till the end of the year as planned. I'm thinkin this month for sure. Also found out they have the $500 accessory and $250 purchase incentive thru Sept. What an extremely comforable and great handling bike!!

I wish i could have test drove mine or at least heard it lol. I bought it for my first bike, without riding it, hearing it or anything. After sitting on about 10 bikes there was just nothing as comfy and nice as the stryker. I havent regreted it one bit.

Do you have any other information on the $500 worth of accessories? I purchased mine at the end of June. Havent even recieved a post card from Yamaha or the Star Rider association.
