I stumbled upon this site while doing research on new motorcycles to replace my fallen ride. The community here looks pretty darn enthusiastic, informed, and helpful. I thought I'd come on in and say, 'Hello'!

I just purchased a new Stryker on Halloween. I get to pick it up next Thursday.

Congrats and welcome from Southern California. What color did you get?
I was able to locate a brand new 2011 Raven still sitting on a showroom floor - just waiting for me! My wife walked into the showroom, took one look and said, "THAT one. I like THAT one.".

Welcome from So. Cal. 2011 Raven is the best looking one so far .. and the fastest too. Good choice. Any mods in mind yet?

SoCal, eh? I used to live down in San Clemente. I used to love taking the roads to Lake Elsinore and to Big Bear...

Mods? Nothing crazy being done yet - just simple bolt-on items.

Stuff I'm ordering up front;
QR Sissy Bar and Backrest
Luggage Rack
QR 22" windshield (Yamaha version)
Kuryakyn Iso Grips (only part I saved from the old ride)
Kewlocks (pair)
Kisan PathBlazer

Stuff I'd love to do later;
240mm or 250mm rear tire
Cobra swept pipes
Cobra intake
Cobra Power Commander
LED tail lights
Some sort of side mount license plate
Back-Off tail light flasher
Floorboards (driver and passenger)
Heel / toe shifter
Different front / rear fenders

The devil's in the details... ;)

That's a pretty good list. Should keep you busy for a while. I have run out of things to do to mine for now. No money, so I try an custom do as many mods as I can. Working on a radiator cover, but that's it. I am in the Los Angeles area, but have been wanting to go to Pizza Port in San Clemente. Next trip down south I will try and stop by. Been to the one in Solano Beach.

Eh... the list will happen as funds allow, of course.

If you like Italian, there is a great little place down on El Camino Real called, Guicho's. I STILL crave their Tiger Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. My crew and I used to order and take it all down to the San Clemente pier to have lunch. Great food!
