Whats up everybody. I'm from Minnesota but live and ride in Nebraska. Started out riding 2 years ago on a 2005 Yamaha R6, thought it was a pretty good starter bike and dropped it once and learned to stay up on tire maintenance. Also learned that a guy my size is better suited on something bigger, longer and lower to the ground. Last summer I heard about the Stryker and by the fall I was riding it. Traded my R6 in and got 2011 Black Stryker. It was a good time to buy since Yamaha was including $500 towards to accessories. I know my picture doesnt show it but I got the black sissy bar and engine guard. I am looking to add a fairing on the front. I like the look of the Memphis Bullet but I keep reading post how the bat-wing works better. I would just like something that will help deflect some of the air as I ride. Any intel would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Welcome from Omaha.

I am 6'1 with the batwing and 5" shield and it just puts the wind right in my face. Looking at getting a taller shield, but for right now I have it adjusted all the way down to keep the wind off my helmet.

Really like the looks of it so I'll keep it on for now.

Look at the Long Ride Shields windscreens for the Batwing, they go all the way up to 12" which is what I have, very little or no wind now

Welcome! Hastings here, but looking at moving up to Omaha in the next few months. What part of NE are you from? I just have the short boulevard windshield, like the look of it and works great for the in town driving. The 60 mph riding isn't bad, but it is a ***** on the interstate. I am 6' and the bike has been lowered 2.25" and the windshield just pushes the air up into my face. I am not a fan of the looks of the batwing, but to each there own. That is what makes this site so great and our bikes, make them our own.
