Hello everyone. My name is Jeremy and I have been on the hunt for my next bike. I had a Suzuki gs500e about four years ago and now I'm fully convinced that the Stryker will be my next purchase. Iloggedin for some extra info and to learn. It's goodtomeet everyone and to see a site so full of positive information. One question..... My Suzuki would always give me terrible lower back pain. The Stryker seems to be my hurdle out of a miserable sport bike. I'm only 5'5" and 200lb. Do you think I can fit and ride in comfort?

Welcome to the Forum and hope you purchase a Stryker soon. This bike sits low and I am very confident that you will fit it just fine. I have owned many many bikes and this is one of the most comfortable. It looks great and people are always checking it out. Best wishes.

Hey and welcome. I'm new as well,I live in central GA and just recently purchased a Stryker from a guy at my work. (I work at school) I love it. I'm short as well coming in at about 5'2" and the bike fits me great. Im also 128lbs and am able to handle it just fine,no issues with turns, still standing at lights, ect. Good luck with your search!

i have had my stryker since feb and love the fit, im 5'6" and 165 and it feels really comfortable. i will mention that i did lower it 2 inches. the only thing i might change is some different bars if they ever come out with some, thinking maybe a little taller as in mini apes or the like..........

Awesome. Thanks for the heads up on the mods, trust me I've been looking at them. I appreciate everyone giving their opinions on the height issue. It's comforting to see that you all have purchased and being a tad bit on the short side, you still fit them well. I'm saving for a cash purchase and it will be a lil time before I get there. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait, lol. Thanks so much

Finally..... after trying the world of the Kawasaki ninjas..... I sold my ninjas today, and purchased a used raven stryker from Panama city beach, fl. Any one from here leave a stryker at the Indian motorcycle in Panama?

Sorry it took you four years + to get away from those Ninja's! This should feel like a Cadillac !

Congratulation on your new bike! As Slick has said the Stryker would feel like a Cadillac compare to a sport bike, unfortunately it maneuvers and weight like a Cadillac to at parking lot speed compare to a Ninja. My suggestion is for your first Mod is to get lowering links and lower the bike to 2 1/2 inch so you can flat foot it just for added confidence in slow speed. That is the one of the first thing I did cause I'm 5'7" 185 lbs. this bike is low but has a wide seat and it bothers me not being able to flat foot it specially a heavy bike like the Stryker.
