Ok.. So I am getting a new radiator cover.. Can't decide if I should go with a matte black or go for the color match.. I have the Impact Blue.. the new cover has a design so I am thinking that if i do matte black the design will just blend in and not really stand out unless i put some kind of mesh behind it.. currently it is stainless but really dont want to keep it like that.. what do you guys think..

With Blue....you gotta get it painted......

Would you prefer this (Compliments of My Life's gallery)

or something like this

I've got a Raven.....and actually haven't even painted mine yet (several months), but I think it blends in pretty well enough for now.....

Eventually I'll probably just have the whole bike painted, once I get the rear fender......

Color Match. I have the blue Stryker as well. Rode the bike one year with the Low and Mean Spoiler still black. Decided this year to paint it blue, because I put on the Reaper fender as well. It makes such a big deference painted the color of the bike I can't tell you how much more it stands out. I get more comments on it now then I did last year. Bring it in to a auto body shop to get it painted. Yes they will use car paint, but you can't tell the difference. I got both the fender and spoiler painted for $200 under table.

dang you Joker !!! i just copied the pics to come back and post but you beat me to it.

heres another black
I've been spending so much time lately reviewing gallery photos for idea's that I knew My Life's bike looked sweet with the paint......
I'd like to paint mine and the front fender, but no way am I going to attempt it with colorite...I could never meet my own standard, and would end up taking it to a paint shop after I messed it up......I may end up going with My Life's route (auto paint shop) unless I decide to get the whole thing painted......

Did they match it based on guessing or did they use the actual color code?

You could aways go black for the main part, and do a stip of blue on the edge. I think this looks good as well. Personally I think the all blue chin spoiler pulls your eyes down to it since it is a big piece. Ours are in the shop right now getting painted. I'll post pictures when I get them. For my copper bike, I'm going with all black. With the black front rim, I think the all black os a good match.

Wow I just reread the first post. Lol. Still think color matched. The contrast on top of the black radiator will look nice
Yea.. I was thinking the same.. I think the black will blend too much and not give it the pop the item deserves.. taking it in tomorrow to see about getting painted at a local body shop.. just hope they have whats needed to match the color..

Brought in my front fender and they put it on a computer to read the color code. Put the new paint job next to the factory color and could not see a difference.
