2nd that. Not a fan of stop leak etc. Could work but can also plug up important stuff.
Now if you are just trying to eek out a season on X vehicle than sure dump it in. Otherwise get the repair done correct.

No need top replace IMO unless the radiator shop says so. Down the road maybe because you punctured it but then again many on the road are that way...

Well the rad shop fixed the leak but I think he closed off the passage a little. After the bike warms up the coolant light flashes on and off. Just have to wait for the new one to come in.

If your light came on when you initially popped the hole and overheated your bike try disconnecting the ground on your battery, count to ten and reconnecting it.
I'm no Yammy tech but It's worked on a couple vehicles I've had to clear the code stored for the overheat.:thumb:

Then...
A simple test is to heat up the bike and spray water on the radiator and watch the area in question...
Does the water evaporate evenly around the repair or does the part after the repair stay wet longer.
If it all dries off even then no problem.
If it stays wet on the fins after the repair then it's not flowing well there.
A good radiator man will fix that for you.

Well I fianlly had a chance to check it out. Definitely going to have to sit tight and wait for the new rad from Babbitts. I sprayed water on the rad after the bike was good and hot. It boiled right off from around the repaired area and just evaporated normally from the rest of the rad surface.
