Yamaha makes great bikes (even with their odd quirks) I've had several and have always loved them, I'm sure you'll enjoy yours. Plus this bike always gets stares Remember to never get complacent, first six months is statistically the highest risk time for new riders but you always have to keep a weathered eye on your surroundings. Even after 11 years of riding. Welcome and ride safe.

Good first solo ride. 120 miles round trip to the N Ga area. Stayed out of the mountains and enjoyed some of the farmland around that part of the state. Still a little nervous to hit the mountains with all you seasoned riders!

I've been riding for some 10 years, and even I get nervous riding in north GA sometimes. Just remember, always ride at a speed YOU are comfortable with.

Im in cleveland ga. My star touring group chapter 421run out of lawrenceville are going to ceasers head state park. In SCthe sat morning. If your interested in rideing with us you can meet us at lawrenceville yamaha on 316. We leave at 8:15 am. I have the only stryker so far and just sold my roadliner. Its about a 250hour mile pluss ride. For me it will be 60 more at least. If not. Give me a pm and ill show you my back roads up here in north ga.
