My cousin races pro motocross for the yamalube team and the only oil he will use is amsoil, they even go as far as to take empty yamalube jugs and fill them with amsoil synthetic. Now that I'm past my first service thats all I will use. Hope this helps

You can't go wrong with any motorcycle oil and filter as long as you change them at your recommended service intervals. Yamalube is a very good oil. Anyone who says otherwise is simply biased on a particular brand name. I put yamalube, mobil1, amsoil in all my bikes regardless of the bike brand. I currently have amsoil waiting to go in my stryker at the 600 mile service. Although I stick with those three brands, I feel clean oil is good oil. PERIOD. Even if it is Harley oil...gulp...i just said the H word... flame me now.
