Hey all! New forum member and now owner of a (used) 2014 Stryker 1300. This is also a salvage bike, so it's a project i'd hope to get goin by spring. Coming from supersport bikes (Honda cbr600 and 1krr's). Getting too old to lay down in curves and twisties, so it's time to just cruise around. In SE Ohio, so instead of ripping up the curves and hills i'll just cruise around and enjoy the scenery :)

Anyhow, I'm looking to mod out the bike (yep, less than 24hrs after getting it). Initially i'm after the following:
-air intake
-led headlight
-front turn signals. It didn't come with any (and do I HAVE to remove the handlebars etc to install)
-fender eliminator?
-axle nut plate holder (possibly)
-led kit?
-wireless security/keyfob system
-possible battery (partial to Optima)
-Looking to change out the fuel tank (see ding) or a way to remove it and not fill it and then repaint it.
I'm also looking to replace the chrome covers on the engine. The passenger side has a bit of cosmetic dmg to it, so I may as well replace all of the pieces including the top of the heads.
Need to be pointed in the direction of a wiring diagram that I might utilize so I can chase wires for the afore mentioned lack of turn signals.
One of my main questions, is the pipes. According to the pic, are these pipes these stock on the Stryker? Again, literally got the bike 12hrs ago, so haven't started any research on it yet. I don't mind them, and will most likely keep them. Just trying to get a grasp of what I have so far.

Anyhow, I went in knowing this would be a project (I need a hobby aside from building pc's), so I figure i'd do something different. Any and all suggestions would be great. Pics would be even better or links to pics. Thanks in advance and see ya out there!

PS: No idea if its been tuned or anything. There any telltale signs for that? And the only thing I "felt" when I rode it briefly, was that in 1st gear it was a tad sluggish? It was just a quickie ride, never made it to 3rd gear, and a cold one. I read that the weather can contribute to some sluggish shifting (it's about 40°F).

Hey congrats on the ride. First thing I noticed is the factory air filter. Chances are good that it has not been tuned. There's no real reason air in = air out ?? Right ? .. one thing I did on mine ( if you ride solo ) is took off the sissy bar. That thing weighs 10 pounds. No exaggeration. Also instead of the axel mount for the plate mine is mounted on the side frame . Only issue here is that you can't throw Saddlebags over . I don't know about Ohio laws but mine is vertical mount. Shoot you some pics. See what you think.

That last pic, is that an integrated rear light? As in, turn signals and brakes are incorporated? Was looking for something like that but everywhere is sold out. And that headlight, is it led and is it better than factory. Looking to replace the one that's on the bike now.
Btw, used to live in florida, don't miss it lol.
.. by the way, used to live in Columbus Ohio... don't miss it lol 😆 😂... yeah the rear is integrated turning and brakes.. can't tell you where it came from cuz it was on when I bought it. Same goes for the headlight. It is really nice and bright but again there's not even a brand name . I did an Amazon search and found a headlight that looked identical to mine . I'm sure there's others out there. And as far as mods. go , this has the Cobra power flow air intake, Vance and Hines full exhaust and power commander V on it . More torque than any other bike I've owned and that includes 2 vrods and a 2020 triumph rocket 3 . By the way what part of Florida were you living? I bought a house north of Gainesville about 60 miles south of Georgia so I get a lot better weather than when I was living in st petersburg. 😎
Also, where'd you get your top and bottom engine covers? I'm looking for matt black ones and not chrome. Been striking out on finding them at a reasonable price...
Are you referring to the plastic covers over the plug area? .. I think that maybe 2012 models came like that stock.
Well, turn signals came in today and I gotta ship em back. Never realized that the front forks have black tubing over the actual fork, thereby increasing the diameter. Sooo... I happened across a set of BT speakers with integrated turn signals. I'm gonna give that a go instead. Here's what it looks like. Comments?
The speakers have good reviews. Last music system I mounted on a bike was the kuryaken thunder something lol . It was on my vrod and also on a fatbob . Very loud at 80 mph you could still hear it. Nowadays I just wear my sedici Bluetooth helmet and run my mp3 player. Safer all around - IMO .
Went with your suggestion and installed these led wraps from amazon. Hope the inspection place will let em slide. They don't have continuous power, and just blink is all.
The ecm doesn't have anything etched into it to state whether or not it was flashed, and I haven't seen anything plugged in either. Maybe it was unplugged just for ****s n giggles?
If your pcm is flashed or mapped then by hooking it up to a laptop with the website pulled up the chart will allow you to open any current map . If there's no map there then it will tell you. ( That's how the power commander 5 works . ) not sure what you have. I think maybe you're just talking about a flash onto ecm ??
