Good morning -

My name is Mike, and I recently purchased a 2012 Stryker. I bought it at Rich's Yamaha in Lockport, IL. I live in the Orland Park area. This is my first brand new motorcycle.

When I purchased the bike, I ordered the Tall Quick Release Windshield, Tall Quick Release Back Rest, Soft Bags, Engine Guards, and the tank mini-bra (because I KNOW I will scratch the he** out of it).

I have not been able to ride it as of yet, since the weather has been pretty crappy. However, that has not stopped me from accessorizing and starting modifications.

So far I have added the Optimate 4 charger, an i-phone harness, and the RAM i-phone mount (thanks to this forum)

I have also installed a push-button garage door opener modification into my throttle perch (thanks again for the idea).

I will post pics later, as I see I have to resize them :suspicious:

I already have a laundry list of items I want to start swapping out.

These include:

New grips
New pegs
Stirrup Pegs
Cobra Radiator Cover
Throttle Cruise Assist
Cobra Drive Belt Guard
Cobra Caliper Caps
Cobra PowrFlo Air Intake

And I want to try and drill the exhaust for my first major mod, and if I do not like how it sounds, I will probably buy the Cobra slip-on exhaust.

Well, that's my story. I am looking forward to the riding season, and sharing here on the forum.

Thanks!

Welcome neighbor from Plainfield, IL. I also purchased my 2011 Stryker from Rich's. When the weather gets nicer I will start posting for people to ride in the area. We have a few members close by.
