This might sound really dumb, but this just occurred to me the other day while I was riding.....what the **** do you do when you have a flat tire? Do you guys carry around patch kits? I've never plugged a tire in my life. Always just put on the spare whether it was a truck, boat trailer, or whatever. Interested to hear what to do if/when I get my first motorcycle tire flat.

Used to carry plugs can't remember ever doing a bike tire though. Have AAA now with 200 mile free limit towing.

Just found the website
http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html

It's a product that is a sealant and also balances your tires. Many on the Raider forum have good things to say about the product. I am putting it in my bike and the wifes this spring.

I have been using Ride On in my tires since I got the Midnight wheels last June. I have not had a flat yet, but it does balance the wheels and tires very well. Have had no balance issues with the wheels at all, and no ugly weights on the rims. I will definately do it again. I don't see why it wouldn't work like any other tire sealant, and the balancing is bonus.

I was told by the Yami dealer here, that with the precision Billet aftermarket wheels that there is no need to balance at all. This comes from the Owners son that has had a Raider for quite awhile and knows his $hit!!

In the name of research, you must immediately go stab a hole in one of your tires. Please post your results :)

The wheels may not need balancing, but what about the tires? Are they balanced coming out of the mould? The wheels being machined I would believe would not need balancing, but the tires I don't believe would be as precision balanced in a mould.

I will do that just before I get the new 240 rear tire you are sending me for the experiment mounted onto my rim. LOL
