If you are considering make these mods, I would suggest following these steps if you are less than average around tools.

1. Install your auto tuner and ride about 300 miles on stock pipes and intake.

I had my buddy do this, he installed it wrong at first then corrected it when I walked him through it. By doing this first he was able to feel the extra power and the responsiveness. No popping on decel, no chugging no hick-cups. Just pure performance for what the auto tuner was.

2. Install the pipes, drive another 300 miles.

you will find that you need to do the 02 sensor mod in most cases. I think this works fine even it this is all that you do while you wait for your parts.

3. Install your air box. Then ride for 300 miles...your auto tuner will recalculate and give you maximum performance.

4. Skip the first 3, Pay someone to do it for you and save the head ache!

This is just my scoop for the desk jockeys like myself. AND DONT DRINK WHILE DOING THIS!

Please feel free to add anything I missed.

I drank while I cut up my stock exhaust and made my new exhaust out of old Harley mufflers. I think the drinking is what made it work.

That's how I feel when I have my friends over for a BBq. I know I can't mess a good BBq up, break out the beer. The women start to eat my ribs and as I watch, it looks like they are cheating on their husbands! The funniest thing! noises and all! I love throwing BBq's!
