Ok, I have been doing some reading and researching and I want to be sure before I cut off the bracket for the smog canister. Can someone please look on their stryker and see what this outlet has on it. For me it runs to a canister along with the gas tank vent.

You see this without removing the filter. It will be right on the top of the intake. Is it capped or vented under the tank?

I live in Florida. On my throttle body i have 2 places for vacuum line size hoses. The rear one has a hose running up under the tank. The front one has a little rubber boot/cap/stopper.It's plugged. The piece you have circled, on mine has nothing there, it's a hole but it doesnt go all the way through.

Thanks alot for the quick repsonse.. I appriciate the pics..

So I am guessing that I can pull off the hose and just cap it then? Anyone else have inputs. I don't understand why Cali would put a vent in the intake if it isn't needed..

anyone... anyone... buller.. buller..

You can put a plug on the throtal body vent the one from the gas tank needs to run to the ground, it a vent if you cap that one it will create a vapor lock becouse the fuel tank has no air intake , there is a small canaster on the line from the gas tank leave that on ,its a check valve incase the bike falls it will stop the gas from flowing out the vent.

Cool thanks for the info. I knew not to cap the one from the tank.. LMAO but it sure would have been funny if I did. I did the the check valve you are talking about... I was curious what that did.. Now I know..
